The North West Drawing Collective has been established to unite like-minded artists from across the North West.

The aims of this collective  are the following:

  • To create a peer support network

  • To increase opportunities for North West Artists

  • To provide a virtual resource

We will do this by

  • Running bi-monthly meetings and group critiques

  • Hosting Open Call opportunities for exhibitions and events (both virtual and physical)

  • Creation of this new website full of artists resources, updated monthly.

  • Physical exhibitions internally and externally

  • Themed Workshops and talks

  • Off-site gallery visits

  • Online blog with monthly Q&A's with artists of note

  • Video content

The artists involved in this collective work predominantly with drawing crossovers into other disciplines. We want to showcase that drawing can extend beyond a simple sketch and become a piece of art in it's own right.

We open up applications to become part of the collective twice a year. Please keep a look out for our open calls! Priority is given to North West Artists but we will consider applications from artists outside the North West as long as they will be active members of the group.

Created in collaboration with AIR Gallery.

Sponsored by Arts Council England.
